Are there any travel fees for coverage?

Our local coverage area is from West Palm Beach to Middle Keys. Outside those areas will involve a travel fee based purely off the cost of travel. Because the travel fee is based on the travel costs at the time of quoting, the travel fee portion will be quoted prior to booking and will be due upon booking so that any travel reservations can be booked at that time. Because of this, travel fees are earned upon receipt and non-refundable.

We're ready to book. What now?

That’s awesome. If we have not had the chance to chat and discuss your big day, then that would obviously be step one. After that, I will send you a Services Overview and Estimate along with the Services Agreement. There will also be a link to make your online retainer payment. The non-refundable retainer is a flat $1800 regardless of final package selection. Once the Agreement is signed and the retainer received, you are all set for your wedding date.

Can we change our coverage package later?

Absolutely! This is why our Retainer is not based on the package you book. That said, if you book a package with an Assistant or Second Shooter, we secure those team members availability immediately. Because of this, while you can upgrade your package, you cannot downgrade it after booking. For this reason, unless you are 100% sure of your package, I recommend waiting till 45 days before your wedding to make your final package selection. 

What is your turn-around time?

Your final image file link and Family & Friends Online Gallery will be ready for you within 45 days after your wedding date. Albums will ship within 30 days of your final design approval.

What if we have to cancel or postpone?

While this rarely happens, it does from time to time due to unforeseen circumstances, Hurricanes, etc. Once you book your date, we turn away all potential couples or events for that date. Because of this, all retainer and travel fees are deemed earned and non-refundable regardless of reason. However, in certain instances such as pandemics and hurricanes, we will allow a one-time rescheduling of your date to a date within 12 months of the original date only if the new date is available. Otherwise, cancellations and postponement prior to 60 days of the event will result in loss of retainer and travel fees; within 60 to 30 days of event loss of retainer, travel fees and 50% of booked package fee; within 30 days of event, loss of all fees and retainers paid. 

I know this may sound extreme, but we do not mean it to be. This is why we can not stress enough the importance of protecting your event and yourself with a very simple and inexpensive Wedding Insurance Coverage. There are tons of insurance companies that offer these to couple. The coverage costs between $80 to $300 and will protect your from any injury liability, venue damages, as well as any and all retainer and vendor payment losses that result from cancelations or postponements. So please, make this the next wedding day investment you make!

You also shoot Commercial Photography, how did that happen?

I can thank one of my amazing brides for this one. She is the event coordinator for a major media company; and after her wedding, she convinced me to start shooting their events. Then their media team would start asking me to provide other photography services. Then word of mouth kicked in and over a decade later I shoot commercial and event work for a dozen or so companies, and headshots for dozens of businesses. I am also an editorial assignment photographer for Getty Images covering red carpets, premieres and other major events. But I still love shooting my weddings.
