Erika and Connor’s Palm Beach Proposal
Erika and Connor’s Palm Beach Proposal could not have gone off more perfectly.
Visiting from New York, Connor had planned on proposing to Erika at the Worth Avenue Clock Tower on their last full day down here. However, he was getting nervous due to the almost never heard of Winter rain storms in Florida. It had been raining for days including on their last full day.
But like a sign from the Proposal God’s, the rain cleared out by mid-morning and then right before sunset, the sun broke out. Of course, this wasn’t the end of the trickiness that is proposing at the Clock Tower which is a popular spot in West Palm Beach for selfies and portraits. In order to work me into the scenario without Erika catching on, I had to arrive early and pretend to be shooting landscape pictures. When they arrived, Connor asked me to get a picture of them with his phone. After doing so, I then said, “Let me get a shot with my camera.”. This worked perfectly, because while she was focused on figuring out why this weird gray beard guy wanted to take a picture of them, she didn’t notice Connor kneel down with the ring. Her reaction when she turned and saw him was priceless.
Afterwards we took advantage of the absolutely stunning sunset and went down to the beach and captured some beautiful portraits of them.
So, Erika and Connor’s Palm Beach Proposal started off looking like it might not happen, then took an weird turn (at least from Erika’s standpoint), but then ended absolutely perfectly.
