My favorite couples have always been ones referred by my other amazing couples. So when Jacki and Cory reached and said, “Sophia and Bryan referred us.”, I already knew we were off to a good start. When planning their Thalatta Estate wedding, they wanted to make sure that the day and night would be all about the moments with family and friends. More eventful and emotional moments, and less pomp and pageantry.

They had all of that and more. The emotion-filled moments with family and friends were easy. It was clear from the start that everyone there not only loved Jacki and Cory with all their hearts but also came fully prepared to celebrate all night. As for the eventful moments, the day gave them plenty of those as well. During the ceremony itself, they had bright blue skies to start, a flock of White Ibis flew over their heads during their vows, a rainbow when exchanging their rings, and rain instead of rice during the recessional.

Fortunately, the rain stopped, the catering team was able to reset the tables, and the band was able to uncover their instruments before the cocktail hour ended and the reception was a go. After emotional and laughter-filled toasts from their sisters and parents, the real celebration began.

A favorite part of Jacki and Cory’s Thalatta Estate Wedding was their very punny (intended) vows to one another.
