LinkedIn has become the top site for business development, peer-to-peer networking, job seekers, hiring managers, industry announcements, and news. Regardless of what industry sector you are in, having a professional profile on LinkedIn is a must. It is estimated that regardless of your position or industry, you will be searched on Google at least twice a day. Regardless of their reason for searching your name, one of the top (if not the top) search results will be your LinkedIn profile. And the top image result will be your profile picture on LinkedIn. This last fact is an important one. It means that before they even view your credentials on LinkedIn, they will have seen your picture and have already begun forming their opinion of you. A few years ago a friend of mine needed a professional social media profile headshot. He didn't need a full series of headshots to be used for marketing and promotion. He only needed something to use as his profile picture on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other social media pages. I told him to stop by and we did a quick few shots guiding him with posing; he picked out his favorite which I touched up and sent to him in a high-resolution, web-ready format. Within days, members of his LinkedIn network began reaching out about getting their LinkedIn headshots done as well.
What is a LinkedIn Headshot Session?
LinkedIn Headshot Sessions are very similar to my standard headshot sessions. I use the same professional lighting and the same professional camera, you have access to the same choice of seamless backgrounds, and your image selection is retouched. The only difference is the session is shorter as we are only shooting a tight headshot, you will select your favorite image at the end of the session, and the final image file will formatted for maximum quality on a website and social media profiles.
What is the Turnaround Time?
You will select your final image on-site after the session. Your image will then be retouched and sent to you within 2 to 12 hours. The delivery time would depend on what time of day we should have your session. If shot in the morning to early afternoon, you can expect it in about 2 hours. If we shoot your session at the end of the day, then you will receive it by the time you wake up the next morning. Either way, you will be ready to post your professional headshot within hours.
How Much is a LinkedIn Headshot Session?
All sessions include professional lighting and a background of choice. Posing guidance during the session. Your choice of one image which will be retouched and delivered to you in high-resolution, web-ready format via a digital download link.

Interested in a Session for Your Entire Company or Office?
Companies have profiles on LinkedIn as well. And when visitors click on the "People" button, seeing consistency in the profile images of your team. We provide a half-day and full-day LinkedIn Headshot option. We bring the studio to your offices and will capture everyone who wants a headshot. We can even work with you to make sure the background and team member pose reflects your corporate character. They will sit for their headshot, select their favorite image after the session and we will process the image and email it directly to them on-site. On average, we can complete the whole process in about 6 minutes per individual. So in a half-day session (4 hours) we can shoot 40 to 50 people. In a full day session (8 hours) we can shoot between 80-100 individuals.
